TAIrving
My searches have all failed to find the desired post. I think it was earlier this year but maybe last year. The post showed a special type of paint/coating on a dwarf’s beard that really made it stand out. Any help much appreciated, thanks in advance. don in brooklin on
Programming note: If anyone has downloaded the PDF, it was created with Inkscape 1.2 using multipage option. It opens just fine in Acrobat but if you want to modify I have found that when I open it I get a grey desktop. I found that if you open new document and then import the PDF it gives you a clean SVG to modify. (you can delete blank page and the instructions with the page option- the bottom of the left tool bar) barb.j.enders, John B and OCtoolguy 2
john nelson
Another way to reproduce this project would be to just make a paper copy of the photo (full size) and glue it to the wood and cut out. Quick and no painting...no mess. Cute project. What is DecoArt® Snow Writer Paint? JAN danny, OCtoolguy and John B

Decorative painters like Tole Painters, or like Sheila Landry’s painted projects have been using it for years. But as Don has shown, it can be used to add a white texture to any white item like here on the gnome’s beard which decorative painters have also done so it’s not limited to using for just “snow”. It has been around for many years so perhaps you have been living a sheltered life. 🫢 John B, OCtoolguy and john nelson 2

meflick
Given our present heat wave I could do with a little snowy weather for a day or two. John B, barb.j.enders, OCtoolguy and 1 other 3
