Insane Dust Maker
Just to let you know, I. can’t do any scroll saw work at the moment, because our corrupt government has not done maintenance on the power stations and they are now on the verge of collapse. We have been on Stage Six Load Shedding which means they switch the power off and you got to live with that. As I write this now it’s 8:00PM in South Africa our suburb has not had power since 12:00 PM today, nobody knows what’s going on. So tomorrow and the week end our schedule shows power will be off on these times: 00:00-2:30AM 04:00-6:30AM 12:00-16:30PM 20:00-00:30PM So survival ( keeping food from going off etc) is more important than Scroll Saw Cutting. Dak0ta52
Prayers are with you, Don. It's unfortunate that our "Leaders" are causing so much havoc. danny and OCtoolguy
lawson56
Our Prayers are with you, I do know something about being without power, my Wife and I survived a flood in my hometown, and been through a hard winter freeze, I know it's not the same as your going through. I hope your situation clears up soon. OCtoolguy and danny
OCtoolguy
The exact same thing COULD here in the U.S. Our infrastructure is in sad shape too.
wombatie
There are problems here also with the power but fortunately it has not been shut off yet. Stay safe and just do what you have too. Marg danny and OCtoolguy
Wichman
Can you get a medium size battery backup unit? I have one for my wifi router and internet system (wireless ISP). Both of my computers are laptops so I never lose internet or computer time to power outages. One of these units may not let you keep chugging away, but they should provide enough runtime that you wouldn't be caught in the middle of a cut. OCtoolguy
Also, check Harbor Freight. They've got some very nice lightweight generators. They are very quiet and efficient to operate.
