I should read stories more carefully. I always thought of Charlie Dearing as one of the best pattern makers. He sure can cut as well. But looking at the three cuttings, you, my man, are standing proud, right alongside him.

Thanks John. The first one, from Good Will Hunting is my pattern I did from a photo. The one from Good Morning Vietnam however was from a black and white drawing I found on Pinterest or some site like that that only needed a little tweaking to make cuttable so I can't take any credit for that one. Charles is truly amazing. I cut his Gandalf the Gray and I can't imaging having the patience to do a pattern with that kind of detail. I usually do mine while watching television with the fam. I made this one of Ben Stiller from the movie Zoolander (One me and my son quote a lot) while watching several episodes of The Office tonight with my wife. Fun stuff. :)

I like your  portraits Charlie,👍

I'll try to make from family pictures.
I think it will be good, maybe my next project.

Thank you! I use a free site called Cute Cutter. It takes a lot of experimenting to learn to use it but I’ve had fun with it. Some pictures work pretty well with it and some don’t at all. It usually takes me a few hours to do one so I just work on it while we’re watching a ballgame or something.

I wish I lived by you. I would love to visit with you and see 'Your Wall'. I just spent about 4 hours with Scrappile,(Paul) in Washington State and enjoyed another great time with him. I am so glad we were able to get together about 7 years ago and become good friends.

You keep up the great work. I have been enjoying your posts for some time now. Always look forward to your next post to see what you have been up to.

Thank you so much Dick! You're too kind. I'm glad you got to visit Paul and that he's doing well. Miss hearing from him in the village. :)
