steveh
I was surfing the web and came upon this site for the first time today. Looked around and found it interesting and decided to register. I am retired and have be scrolling for about 10 years. My efforts have been mainly in baltic birch, from Christmas ornaments and nametags to large clocks including the Chimes of Normandy and York Minster Cathedral clock boxes. While still scrolling, I am also trying my hand at carving. I look forward to participating in this forum. Steve Qualicum Beach, BC
Travis
Welcome to the Village, Steve! I'm glad you found us. There are lots of friendly and talented folks here. I think you'll fit right in! I would love to see some of your work. You can set up a User Gallery (you can find a tutorial here) and show off a bit. I can't wait to see some of your work. Maybe share a tip or two. steveh
Thanks for the welcome folks. I will try to set up some pictures in the gallery when I figure out how to do it. I started watching the tutorial but didn't have time to finish watching it. Will try again later... Steve
steveh
I have posted some pictures of clocks I have built in my gallery. If this works out, I will post more. Thanks for looking.
Travis
Those turned out amazing! I love the cathedral. I've always wanted to tackle one of those larger clocks. I think it would be a lot of fun. Good job!
