Painters points

I was getting ready to paint a backing for a piece and was going to do the usual and lay it on some scraps.  I saw I had a bunch of paint can caps and came up with this idea to put some screws in and turn them into free painters points.

Actually my head hurts from having an idea that was not placed there by the wife.

       Here is my go at painters points.  Not as sophisticated as yours, but they work.

Great idea! What I have thrown away would have been very useful for larger projects! They won't be thrown away anymore!
