meflick Posted July 26, 2022 Report Posted July 26, 2022 Nice work Charlie. You. Are quickly going to run out of wall space at the rate you are doing these country artists. Charlie E 1 Quote

The other day I had to have some work done at the house and had a crew of about 6 guys here who wound up in my shop looking at my portraits. Have to admit I enjoyed it. They're mostly only seen by family members who say, "Hmm." Keeps me humble though. Edited July 27, 2022 by Charlie E John B and meflick 2 Quote
Scrappile Posted July 27, 2022 Report Posted July 27, 2022 That is a great picture of him... You should cut another, send two to him and one to send back after he signed it...What a keepsake. I am not a concert kind of guy, but for Dad's weekend, when my son was in college, (a long time ago) one of the attractions was a Garth Brooks concert,, back when he was a at his popularity peak.. What a concert! He never stopped entertaining... even when his back up and band took their union break, he stay on stage and entertained... Why back when he hung on to a rope and swung way out over the audience.. I have to admit it was all pretty awesome... it was COOL, baby COOL! Back when he had "Friends in low Places"! I saw a concert of his, about the same time, on DVD, an amazing amount of energy. He has so many songs that I like it would take quite awhile to list A few are "The Thunder Rolls", "Friends in Low places", "Mama's in the grave yard Papa's in the pen", "Unanswered prayers", ete etc @Charlie E Another winner mate. You are on a roll. If you have a sec, I'd appreciate a copy of the pattern. Don't know when I'll get around cutting him. Edited July 27, 2022 by John B Charlie E 1 Quote
