Popular Post Denny Knappen Posted July 30, 2022 Popular Post Report Posted July 30, 2022 I finished this project this morning. The pattern is by Jacob Fowler and found in the book “Woodworker’s Pattern Book”. I cut it on the Pegas Scroll Saw using several Pegas #1R MGT blades. The wood is1/2” unknown and 3/4” Red Oak for the base. The finish is spray Minwax Lacquer Clear Satin. Comments welcome. Charlie E, wombatie, frankorona and 16 others 19 Quote

FrankEV Posted July 30, 2022 Report Posted July 30, 2022 Very nicly done. Eagles are always a great subject. How did you attache the cutting to the Base? I've done a few cuttings like this and I add a tenon and mortise to make sure the cutting cannot be knocked free of the base. Quote

I left some of the frets off the lower part so that I could screw onto the base. FrankEV 1 Quote
Dak0ta52 Posted July 31, 2022 Report Posted July 31, 2022 Wow, Denny. That looks like some delicate work... especially on a 1/2-inch piece of wood. Great job! Quote
