I really envy you, Dave haveing a Grandchild around that wants to learn.. You are very lucky to have her as a student and she is very lucky to have you as a teacher... I know exactly where her being a perfectionist came from... Beautiful box she made.

Thanks for the kind words Paul. We have two grandsons that live within 30 minutes from us that could care less about my shop. Kylie has always liked me to help her make projects which totally delights me.

☺️ I’m with Ralph, he beat me to it, but I was going to say I wish I could come spend a week with you in your shop to learn from you Dave. 😁🙂

Glad you and your granddaughter get to spend that quality time together. She will indeed treasure those items you and she create as well as the memories themselves and will take those skills with her throughout her life. she did an excellent job on her spidy box..

Thanks so much. I'm sure you  could teach me a thing or two about intarsia.

We are blessed to have our 13 year old grand daughter spend a week with us. I am in heaven when she asks to spend time with me in my shop learning a new scrolling technique. She did just about everything herself on this Spiderman box. She is definitely a perfectionist.

She has the face of a great scroller on the first pic - look at that Concentration
The second pic pic says it all - Very lucky and talented girl - hope she keeps it up
