My first Christmas present this year

Made this for my grandson, who is on the Havana Ducks basketball team this year.  All cut on the scroll saw, with 3/4" poplar for the body and 6mm BB for the wings.  Finished with craft acrylics, but still needs the final clear coat.  I have a lot more to make, and I don't work very hard at them, so it takes a while.

I love whirligigs.  Have made many myself. That is a really cool one.  You may have to end making one for everyone on the team.  On youtube there are lots of them.

I wish I had your painting talents. This is really wonderfully done. He will have so much fun showing it to his fellow team mates. They will be so jealous. Tell him they can order one from you for X amount.
