Charlie E Posted September 1, 2022 Report Posted September 1, 2022 Anybody familiar enough with this 1987 romantic comedy to recognize this yet? It would be "inconceivable" if you do. RabidAlien, lawson56, frankorona and 1 other 4 Quote

meflick Posted September 1, 2022 Report Posted September 1, 2022 Charlie - you give one too many clues. It was shortly after I was married and a new bride so I am actually not really familiar with it but “inconceivably” I believe I googled and figured it out. This princess will pm you my answer so as not to tell to soon. Charlie E 1 Quote
Roberta Moreton Posted September 1, 2022 Report Posted September 1, 2022 With the clues given, I have figured it out. Even though I have never seen this movie. Charlie E and Dan 2 Quote

dgman Posted September 2, 2022 Report Posted September 2, 2022 Well, since nobody has named the movie, I will……. The Princess Bride. The quote is “Hello, my name is Indigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!”. Dan and Charlie E 2 Quote
John B Posted September 2, 2022 Report Posted September 2, 2022 I haven't a clue Charlie, Some times I am hog-tied (by the war office) and forced to watch Romantic comedies, but I tend to nod off. lawson56, meflick and Charlie E 3 Quote

This movie is The Princess Bride. Not at all your typical romantic comedy. Lots of people, including me, love it but it's very wacky and different. You may or may not like it, but I doubt you'd nod off. John B 1 Quote
