Millwab Posted September 13, 2022 Report Posted September 13, 2022 I recently received requests for 2 of my Teaching Banks. In the past I’ve made the "plugs" to remove the coins out of layered BB. I’m considering using either a rubber or plastic plug this time. Have any of you used one or the other and have a preference? OCtoolguy 1 Quote
WayneMahler Posted September 13, 2022 Report Posted September 13, 2022 A couple years ago I made banks for our grandchildren. I used the rubber plugs in the bottom. I got them from Paul Meisel and were nice to use. OCtoolguy and Dan 2 Quote

Wayne, I’ve seen rubber plugs from other sources, but Meisel only has polyethylene recessed plugs now. Before I ordered them I was wondering if there was any advantage to the rubber ones. Quote

I know they worked great and install with a forstner bit. I can recommend them from my experience. Quote
