That is a great one of old John...I miss him... He played the same part in every movie they just changed costumes and scenery to fit the era of the movie..

If I remember correctly, The Duke once said something like "It's a great job, all I've got to be is myself"
I think the only bummers are where he tried to impersonate somebody else, like Genghis Khan and the Centurion  in The greatest Story ever Told' "Truly this Man is The Son of God"
I still regularly watch John Wayne Movies. You know who the good guys are and the bad blokes always get their comeuppance. The way things should be.
