Needmore
Has anyone made/built a circle sanding jig? I need to sand the outside edge of scroll saw projects. OCtoolguy

Scrappile
Here is what I use. Very basic. Of coarse with this on you have to have a center hole in the working piece. You can drill holes in the slider to fit the hole in your circle. O used this mainly when making wheels and gears. works pretty well, but downside only on something you are willing to have a center hole in. danny, Lucky2 and OCtoolguy 2
Lucky2
Paul, could you please let me know, what happens to the tightening knob, when you flip the jig over to use the jig? Does it not get stuck, right in the way of things? Len OCtoolguy

Wichman
One additional note. If you are trying to true up a circle without a center hole, create a blank circle with a hole, then attach the blank without a hole on top with double stick tape or adhesive, sand and remove. danny, OCtoolguy and Gene Howe 1

I loosen it so the slider will slide, put the jig on the table, and set the slide to slide the project up to the sander, then reach under and tighten the knob. The knob bolt screws up against the slider and holds it in place. I do not flip the jig over, the first picture is the jug set in place the last picture is just to show what the bottom of the jig looks like.
