Howard McNear as Floyd Lawson. I started to paint the backer red behind the barber pole, but everybody knows, all things Andy Griffith are better in black and white.

That is awesome! Floyd and Ernest T Bass were/are my favorite characters on the Andy Griffith Show.

Ernest T was one of my favorites as well.  Although it seemed like more, I believe he was only in 6 episodes.  He also directed several.

Never seen an episode of Andy Griffiths so have no idea who this character is but it looks great, well done Charlie.

I don't know what Australia or England's equivalent of The Andy Griffith Show would be, but it's probably the most beloved old television show in the US. I made the black and white comment because most everyone here agrees it was much better in the beginning before it was in color. Partly because one of the most popular characters, Barney Fife, left the show.
