I started to paint the backer red behind the barber pole, but everybody knows, all things Andy Griffith are better in black and white. I agree, black and white. Ernest T was one of my favorites as well. Although it seemed like more, I believe he was only in 6 episodes. He also directed several. Marg I don't know what Australia or England's equivalent of The Andy Griffith Show would be, but it's probably the most beloved old television show in the US. I made the black and white comment because most everyone here agrees it was much better in the beginning before it was in color.
