I have never done it so I have to ask, what made it so hard?  Those are very unique and clever... I could see women liking them for the uniqueness and seasonal celebration.  You know,,, maybe I could pierce my ear and wear one... At my age you can get buy with almost anything..That is the only thing I have found good about getting old!

Anymore when I tell my kid about something I have done or thinking of doing... they just roll their eyes and bring up the thing about a home to put me in.

Scrapplie and meflick, my big fat fingers don’t manage the opening and closing of the metal rings well.  It is tedious work for me and time I would rather spend on the saw.  The outcome is appreciated and I may take up the effort to convince my better half to do the metal work if she is willing.

Scrapplie here’s the offer, I will happily send your favorite pair if you will pierce your ears and post a picture 😂🤣

You can use a post setting yes and in fact I have requested pair but I need to mod the pattern so as to hide the portion you glue to the cut earring.

It does help to have smaller fingers 😉 but more helpful and useful is probably a set of jewelry plier tools. Can be bought fairly inexpensively and might help convince your wife to assume that part of the job. 😉☺️

I learned that the best way to open the ring is to twist it so it maintains the round.  So when I make earrings, I will use small needle nose pliers one on each side of the joint and twist.  Hope this makes sense.
