Dak0ta52
Sometimes the imperfections in the wood give the piece character. Very nicely done! Charlie E

Scrappile
I love that! I have always loved Nativity scenes and would like to have a collection of them that are scrolled sawed. A local church has a display of nativity each year (at leas they did until covid. It is open to anyone that want to show... I guess it is really popular, they have nativity sets from all over the world that people have collected.. I hope they start that again. Blaughn
There is woodworking and then there is working with the wood. This is the latter. The grain is like a celebration of the subject. You have a great eye! Extremely well done! Bruce Charlie E and Jim McDonald 1

There is a consignment shop near me where people rent booths and sell mostly junk and antiques. One booth is owned by a man with a sawmill and he sells odd, weathered, no good for building, wood for like $2-$3 a board. This was a piece from one of those boards. Being a spiritual piece, I think it fits, something that might be considered trash turned into something beautiful.
