Popular Post smitty0312 Posted December 2, 2022 Popular Post Report Posted December 2, 2022 The true meaning of Christmas....I made the figurine set a few years ago(Steve Good Pattern), but never had a nativity barn to go with it, so I went to the scrap wood pile and came up with this, all made from scrap wood except roof made from 1/8" ply. Sorry I haven't been scroll sawing much. jollyred, Jronn65, Eric67 and 17 others 20 Quote

don in brooklin on Posted December 3, 2022 Report Posted December 3, 2022 Well done. I like how you did the roof. The idea of having a floor and hay there is a good idea. My wife used to do toll painting and did a complete nativity scene, and I made a barn too. The wood is scrap barn board and she added hay. (It maybe raffi) It is a family tradition that is really treasured that I am sure yours will be. smitty0312, meflick, Jim McDonald and 1 other 4 Quote
Blaughn Posted December 4, 2022 Report Posted December 4, 2022 Very nice. It brings a context and focus to the figurines. smitty0312 1 Quote
wombatie Posted December 4, 2022 Report Posted December 4, 2022 That is terrific. Who is to say what scrap is? I figure if it's fingernail size it's scrap anything bigger get your hands off it, it will come in useful. Good to see you Dan, hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas.
