WolfmoonCT
I'm going to be using some FD #1 sroll reverse blades. But compared to Olson blades, I find it much harder to see the tooth direction. The blades have a short flat end and a longer flat end. Is the short side the top of the blade? Mick
WolfmoonCT, The FD #1 blades I have both ends are the same length. I have had them for a few years. You should be able to tell the tooth direction by feel or lay the blade on a white piece of paper. Good luck. Mick
Travis
I dug out my FD#1 last night and had the same problem. I just felt the blade the best I could and hoped for the best. I've been finding that I enjoy the FD Puzzle Blades the most with those tight cuts. They're pretty aggressive, but I'm stack cutting and that helps. WolfmoonCT
I was only using them cause I accidentally sucked up my tube of Olson #2R blades.. bout 4doz went clanging through, and I had orders to cut. My new Olson blades arrived today. I prefer Olson.. Seems the FD blades to me don't turn as well as the Olson ones.
loftyhermes
I to have difficulty in seeing the teeth so I mount with the short flat to the top.
