Hi - I'm new to scroll sawing and have joined this forum to learn something.

I have been woodworking as a hobby since High School (40 years ago), making furniture, doing home improvements, cabinet making.

I am in the process now of making a new kitchen in my house. I'm moving it to a different location in the house, so I'm able to leave my old kitchen in place until it's done. I'm making cherry cabinets for it.

That project along with some others has had to be put on the back burner for a bit though, I learned last summer that my hips where shot. So I am currently re-cooping from two hip replacements.

So while re-cooping I thought I'd buy a scroll saw (which I've wanted for some time now) and have some fun. Seeing as how you can sit at the scroll saw, that made it possible.

I've made a couple of puzzles for my granddaughter, that's been fun. I didn't know there where puzzle blades.

I plan to do some stack cutting for an idea I have for turning an ornament for Christmas too.

My hobbies include; Woodworking, cooking, beer and wine making, fishing, hunting, biking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, tennis, and photagraphy.
