Pattern is by Roy King. Woods used were pau amarello, butternut, aspen & walnut. Backing is BB with poplar veneer adhered. This is the third time cutting this pattern. Thank you. Roy King introduced this style of doing marquetry many years ago and he at one time had his own business where one was able to purchase his patterns and a wide selection of ⅛” hardwoods. Unfortunately for some reason it was closed. The double bevel technique using ⅛” hardwoods is much easier and faster than the traditional marquetry using veneers.
