What is Fret work??

Hi Bob, Fret work is know different to scroll sawing.we in the U K call it Fret work in the U S A it is known as Scrollsaw.

My understanding is fretwork refers to any design with interior cuts. Usually these designs have a geometric or patterned design. Many Victorian designs are fretwork. However, nowadays, fretwork and scrollsawing are used interchangeably.
