Very nicely done! What wood did you use, what finish did you use and are you going to make the board as well? Thanks for sharing this with us.

It was a first attempt and so was cut from some cheap pine. I spray painted the pieces and then used a clear varnish on them. I dont think i would so it the same way next though. I will use some hard wood to reduce the amount of sanding and have been told that painting the pieces with acrylic paint might be easier. I am however very pleased with the results and everybody that i have shown think it looks great which obviously i am very pleased about. I havent made a board, I have bought one as I need it to be ready for christmas which I am cross about but i just dont have the time to do it.
