Popular Post Charlie E Posted January 7, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted January 7, 2023 Patrick Maxwell Renna as Hamilton "Ham" Porter from the movie, "The Sandlot." I was more of a Smalls, "made straight A's and sh*t" but thought too much to be good at sports. So great when the "Benny the Jets" encourage the "Smalls" of the world. I had one or two in my life. Sorry if you don't recognize the references. Love this movie! ChelCass, jollyred, Dave Monk and 8 others 11 Quote

flarud Posted January 11, 2023 Report Posted January 11, 2023 When I was about 10 years old a new family moved in next to us. The son was a year younger than I was. He looked exactly like Ham! Charlie E 1 Quote

Thanks, Barry It's called Cute Cutter. It takes a huge amount of playing around with it to get good results. At least half the time I give up and delete. Quote
Scrappile Posted January 12, 2023 Report Posted January 12, 2023 (edited) Darn Charlie, every time I see something about a past character I think of you and your famous portraits... Tonight I ran across one that I only knew from his character in the great old tv series "Gun Smoke". Festus Haggen, Come to find out that was one of his least accomplishment. He was a singer that sang with the likes of Frank Sinarta a lead on "Sons of the Pioneers" acted in movies with the like of John Wayne. Real name Ken Curtis. Do your portraits go back that far? You have found your niche with these portraits an someday a museum will be displaying them. Or some celebrity place like Club 21,, seriously! Edited January 12, 2023 by Scrappile Quote

I've never seen him in any movies but I have seen videos of him singing and after hearing his Festus voice all those years it's amazing. I cut this pattern by @wild bill a few years ago. I thought he did a great job capturing him. I just added some wrinkles to his forehead. flarud and Scrappile 2 Quote
