Popular Post Fish
I don’t remember who did this here on SSV awhile ago. I found it again and did the pattern from a picture. The initials are both my wife and I. I used some bass wood my brother gave me. It’s really soft wood and doesn’t take much of the finish. I used 321. BLO semi gloss poly and mineral spirits. Thanks for looking. jollyred, danny, frankorona and 17 others 19

OCtoolguy
I have some basswood slabs that I've been saving. Where can I find the pattern? Yours is beautiful and inspirational. Fish
Ron Johnson
Very beautiful work Dan. Yes the live edge adds that finishing touch. OCtoolguy and Fish
FrankEV
Very well done! Beautiful overall. If you are not going to use a backer, I could visualize seeing the cutouts filled with a colored epoxy/resin like others have used and previously shown herein. Charlie E
Oh wow! I love that! Is the pattern you made anything you could share? I'd love to steal your idea! I think I'd like to do my wife and my initials but use her maiden name initials and our marriage year below it. I would love to try and make that with my late wife's initial and mine. Where can I get the pattern for that. Fish
