Dak0ta52 Posted January 9, 2023 Report Posted January 9, 2023 Nice piece, Alan. Just curious, how was it cutting through the cutting board? Did you notice it being hard or have any problems with the butted joints? Quote
Scrollshrimp Posted January 9, 2023 Author Report Posted January 9, 2023 Thanks, the Bamboo board cut very easy and cleanly, thought I'd give one a try due to the low cost. I don't think it would be suitable for all projects though particularly if you need a nice wood grain finish etc. Hope that helps. Quote
wombatie Posted January 10, 2023 Report Posted January 10, 2023 You did an excellent job. I love cutting bamboo, it sands up to a lovely smooth finish. Marg Quote
Scrappile Posted January 10, 2023 Report Posted January 10, 2023 Use to be a time when we had an abundance of jackrabbits in our part of the state. I use to hunt them all the time. they were every where. Now days I get more excited seeing a jackrabbit than a deer, (didn't use to have deer in this area). Same with pheasants, use to be the pheasant capital of this part of the west. Now you never see them. I should cut that pattern in honor of the Jack rabbit. You did a great job. Brought back memories. Quote
