Popular Post Charlie E
Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac. The pattern is in the library but I added a few strands of hair as I cut it. Listened to her music as I cut. Brought back some good memories. *Added some feathers to give her a little more attitude. She’s one of those I never paid that much attention to, but as I was listening to her songs on Alexa while I was cutting it I realized what a fan I always was without really knowing it. Ron Johnson
Another very fine portrait Charlie. You’ll soon have yourself a fair size collection. Charlie E
flarud
Now you're talking! I've always liked her music and she has always been quite the looker.. even now that she is a bit older. One of the best female voices ever. Leather and Lace with Don Henley (one of the best male voices ever) is a killer song. What a pair of voices!

Of course, I enjoyed listening to her music also. Charlie E

heppnerguy
love your wood portraits. I am now trying to learn how to make them. It is a struggle for me but I am determined to figure this out. I will be posting my efforts, mainly to hope and get comments on ways to improve my efforts and hence become used to the changes necessary to help my efforts. I hope you might be helpful in my endeavor. I will be using GIMP and believe that is not the program you are using but the hints on what I may do to improve can still be helpful to me. Keep up your great portraits, I love seeing them. Dick heppnerguy Charlie E

Keep up your great portraits, I love seeing them. Dick heppnerguy Thank you so much Dick. I should probably try GIMP as I've seen a lot of pattern designers use it. For me the pattern making is as much or more fun as cutting. So many little things you learn by trial and error. Things like what to cut and what to leave to the imagination. Sometimes an obvious line or shadow on the picture just doesn't translate well when you put it on the pattern. I'll help any way I can. I'm no expert by a long shot but I've learned a lot by doing it the wrong way. Just like life. heppnerguy

Please never feel you are insulting me with a remark as I will be happy to get any suggestions and take them as such.
