Feeling...........

I am usually a pretty private person, and don't share much of my personal stuff, but I am feeling amazingly blessed!  Some people don't live long enough to see their kids grow into adulthood, fewer get to see the grand-kids become adults.  I am now officially a great-grand-father.  I think that is a rare thing.  I am really blessed.

But it also makes me feel really old.

I have Grand kids in their 20's and neither one even remotely appear interested in getting married let alone a serious relationship.   Makes me sad but I am very blessed to have them.

I agree with Bill and you are right. You are very fortunate but on the other hand so are your grandchildren to still have a grandfather and now a great grandfather.

I have 4 grands with not a drop of my blood. One turned out ok but is in  a world of hurt right now with a terrible wife. I have 4 greatgrands but never see any of them. So you are a lucky guy.

Good for you, join the club. I have 2 great grand kids, one of each and see them regularly, at least once a week

Congrats, I know the feeling.  I don't have any kids but I have a lot of nieces and nephews.  From them I am a great great aunt.  My brothers son has a daughter who has a son who is 12 or  so.  I just make a great great great Aunt.

I probably complain too much and in reality there is plenty to complain about.

However, one should take a pause to reflect on the good things such as family.
