my suggestions to you, (these are the ones that I discovered, that helped me the most) first of all....if yoiu have not already done so...purchase some blades on line, as most home improvement stores don't really carry what you need to do things easily....I would suggest number 5 and number 2 to start with....go slowly and practice a lot..I started by cutting names to see if I could even do this scrolling thing...start with simple patterns and challenge yourself as you go...don't get defeated...there are many people on Scroll Saw Village that want to see you succeed. If you need help anywhere....ASK..you will get the help you need...good scrolling
