Last Wednesday, Talked to my son on the phone, He was waiting to return from a FedEx flight to Canada.  A day before that he had just returned from a weeks vacation in Thailand. Spent a day at home and flew for work to Canada.  Thursday morning I was puttering in my shop, the door can open and in walks my son.  He had a few days off, got back from Canada and hung out the at the airport a while caught a Fedex flight coming to Washington, rented a can and came over.  He had a few more day off.  He travels around like I drive to town go grocery shoping.  Pretty amazing life he leads.  We have had a great time, He has to fly back to Tennessee tomorrow, so he will be there for work on Tuesday.  And who knows where he will be next Wednesday!

I'm glad your son has chosen this lifestyle. I too lead a similar lifestyle and enjoy the freedom it brings, traveling in a motorhome, working remotely, watching movies and TV shows online in soap2day, walking around cities and places. This kind of life allows me to explore new places and have new experiences, while still staying in touch with friends and family. It's a great way to live!

Yep. Him traveling to another country, state within our country is more natural to him than for me to travel to town to get gas or groceries.. At my age getting groceries is the same as getting gas!  And yet, when he left home for college, then the the service career, then on to a new career, sometimes really bothered him.. He never came "home", only for short visits. Same as my daughter.  I regret it on one hand,  every time we were able to see our grand kids we had to get reacquainted, but on the other hand when our kid grew up we set them free and had them prepared for life.  They both have lived and done things I only dreamed of.  Hard to let go, but by my choice, I have lived in the same area I was born in, my entire live except for when I joined the service...  I think as long as they know we love them, and are here if anything comes up that we maybe able to help then with, we are here for them. All their travels and accomplishment, they have shared with us,  it have enriched our lives.  God bless them!

And watch the autocorrect.

I don't have any auto-correct enabled. I want to do my own correcting, just tell me what I did wrong. That's why I like Grammarly. Not intrusive.
