rodman40 Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 Hi folks, Just joined tonight, have been doing scroll sawing for about 2 years and still learning more about it. I just retired in Sept. 20011 at the ripe age of 71 and loving it because now I can do the things I've wanted to do for a long time and at my own pace "nice and easy and sometimes slow". I just started making Slimeline Pens for my relatives and loving it and this is a whole new hobby for me which I get alot of satisfaction from. My shop is my "Man Cave" these days now. I enjoy searching the web and learning new techniques to improve all areas of woodworking now. Be nice if there was a local club with some skilled wood workers here.I enjoy taking photos of classic cars, flowers, Florida sunsets and assorted subject matters in micro photography.I have five grandchildren with a three year old that enjoys Pa Pa's wood shop, be glad when he gets older and can join me in some projects. I love life in general and having fun all around.Happy new year to everyone here, Rafael Quote
