Paulina
...and I'm new to this forum. I have always wanted a scroll saw after learning how to make simple children's puzzles in an early childhood workshop. Finally, 12 years or so later my wish came true. In November I got a DeWalt 788 for my birthday. I'm playing with it on weekends and have filled the shelves in my classroom with puzzles. This past weekend I bought myself a Rigid table saw so I can cut straight lines for my puzzle backings. That machine is a little scary for me, but I'll get used to it. I live in California and can do most of my sawing out in the front yard during the day time, but when evening comes and I just can't quit I am slowly turning our dining room into my workshop. I have also invaded the kitchen counter. I am addicted and have my husband bringing me home wood scraps from the different job sites that he goes to. I made my first toy this past weekend and now I find myself looking through school catalogs and saying, "Hey, I can make that!" I have a lot to learn and have been enjoying this forum since finding it back in November. Thank you in advance for answering all the questions I'm sure I'm going to asking on this board.
