Another little clock

Ha,  I am worried about it. Pretty fragile.  not much holding those wings to the backer.  After laying awake two nights worrying it, I think I have a solution should they break fee.  If they get there in one piece, all is okay, not something that will be tossed around,   If not I will have him return it, and I will try again using a thought I had at 0300 the other morning.

By the way.  Attached is the pattern I used.  I got it from somewhere a few years ago and my half brain keeps telling me it was from someone on this forum. If so I would love to give them just notoriety and thanks.  Please let me know if any of you know who made the pattern.  The patteren says "ssvminiclocknavyflyer1".  Have searched for it but  nothing.

Very nicely done!! Clocks are a lot of fun to make and are a functional piece of art.. Can be custom themed to match any person's interest..

So you also wake up in the night with a bright light idea.. at least you remember yours when you wake up in the morning? sometimes when the idea is so good i have to get up and make myself a note.. 😂

Paul, as I saw this one, and before I read your notation, I just knew who this one saw cut for. If I ever saw a second rate project from you, I would think you must have had another stroke or made it while you were driving to Portland.  Just kidding...It is a really well make project, as all of your work always is. The nice thing for me is I get to  personally see your projects almost every summer.  Take care my friend, I will call you again before too much longer.

Paul, I am the guy who sent this pattern to you. I had posted similar projects on the SSV gallery when I first became a member. You had remarked you were looking for a similar pattern. It just so happens I was working on one requested by a friend. I sent it to you. When I saw your post of the finished project, I said to myself, that looks like my pattern. Made me proud to see it.  I like how you finished yours. I usually cut mine out of a one piece of wood. My friend liked what I did, and I know your son will be proud to show his off. By the way, you have also helped me with scrolling military emblems. I have finished cutting two of them. Still have to put a finish on them. When complete I will be sure to send them to you. Thanks for your help. The folk's on SSV have been very helpful over the 2 years I have been a member. I'm wondering, are you anywhere close to Kennewick, WA. My cousin lives there.

@jerry walters AH thank you for letting me know.  It has been bothering me.  Thanks for the pattern.  I put you name on my copy so I will remember.  I look forward to seeing pictures of your emblems.  I have three waiting finish,   Had a heck of a time with them.  Lots of chip-out in the Baltic Birch I was using.. Had to recut parts on two of them.
