Hi and hello to everyone out there. Hope you had a good holiday. Have been using Flying Dutchman reverse tooth blades. I suppose they are good blades, but have heard a little about precission ground blades and blades that have the teeth more accurate on both sides. Do not mind paying a little more for a blade if it cuts better and last longer. I would suppose it all boils down to the type of wood you are cutting, but what blades would you guys say are generally the best?

Jerry, you already have the best blades in my opinion, it's just that you don't possibly have the right type for what you want to cut. I have used the precision ground blades and didn't find that they were as good as the Flying Dutchman Ultra Reverse (FD-UR) were, or that they lasted nearly as long. If you get in touch with Mike he will get you set up with what you need for whatever your trying to cut, because there are a lot of different types of blades for a lot of different types of cutting. Good luck.

Thanks Len. Think you are probably right, they are good blades, just wondering if they have some superduper cut all anything laser guided heat seeking non breaking last forever type!!! Laughs. Did send mike an e-mail, but did not know how to send the post dirrectly from my post. Probably should have done a copy and paste? Is there and easier way to send the exact post? Thanks again for all. Jerryd

I'm not sure if there is or not Jerry, but Mike has a good memory. If you've already contacted him he will probably recall your posting, as he was the one who told you to contact him first. And as for the super duper blades, I think that you will be pleased with the Flying Dutchman Ultra Reverse blades and at how well they cut and long they last.
