Popular Post Denny Knappen Posted March 23, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted March 23, 2023 (edited) An Alex Fox Pattern C-03. I enlarged the pattern by 30% to fit 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood 10" square. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1 MGT blades. Entry holes drilled with Grobet #68 HSS Twist Drill Bits. Finish is two coats spray Lacquer Clear Gloss with sanding on the Mac Mop between coats. Comments welcome. Edited March 23, 2023 by Denny Knappen RabidAlien, Scrappile, rjweb and 9 others 12 Quote
Dak0ta52 Posted March 23, 2023 Report Posted March 23, 2023 Awesome piece, Denny. Just wondering, do you cut those on a 90-degree or do you give it some angle? And how in the world did you get a #1 blade to go through a #86 drill hole? You must have lubed it up first. Quote

FrankEV Posted March 24, 2023 Report Posted March 24, 2023 Very well done. I like it a lot. Wondering what Glue do you use? I guessing CA, if correct...Thick, Medium or Thin? And, do you glue every contact point on every ring? Quote
don watson Posted March 24, 2023 Report Posted March 24, 2023 Another good bowl nicely made. The glue ups are usually the sticky part (pardon the pun) with and I usually use the white glue or sometimes Titebond. Quote
