Axminster scroll saw

Just watched a video about the Axminster scroll saws and was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge or information about them? They looked a lot like the Pegas saw and even come with the Pegas blade chucks on them.

If I'm not mistaken, and don't quote me, I think they come out of the same factory. Probably the same saws with a different paint scheme.

Pegas probably have better quality control than Axminster, hence the price difference. They may come out of the same factory but Pegas willing to pay for better quality of manufacture.

I have the Axminster AT535SS bought here in the UK and I'm very happy with it.

I think it is basically like the Excalibur but with the Pegas blade clamps. I'm no expert but would certainly recommend it.

Their web site says they are 230 volt.  That would be unhandy.
