cjswoodcrafts Posted January 16, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 16, 2012 len, my drill press doesnt drill straight it likes to go off center so i use the larger one so i can turn it down and account for the side that is off center so itll be a bit fatter then a reg slim line pen...once i get an upgraded drill press i got a bunch of corian that is about 1/2 in wide that i want to get made into pens... but i guess u get what u pay for when it comes to tools...the bigger lathe is what i use to make canes. Dan Posted January 16, 2012 Report Share Posted January 16, 2012 Nice pens Jim. I had the same troubles drilling pen blanks so I bought a 4-jaw chuck for the lathe and drill with it.
