Dan
That's what my wife thinks. I'm working on items for next Christmas. I made some of these trees a few years ago. My thought is to leave them unfinished and sell them cheap. The selling point will be to let the kids paint and decorate them. I'm thinking of using some small scraps to make tiny ornaments to decorate the trees (but not sure how that will work). I think I'll have a few decorated different ways to give customers some ideas. And one of the great things about these is, they can be taken apart and laid flat for storage. The three sizes shown are 6", 5", and 4". I stack six pieces of BB ply and cut. Takes about 30 minutes to cut and sand the pieces to make 6 trees. I will put the pattern in the pattern forum. Comments or other ideas always welcome. heppnerguy
I decided this year to cut some tree ornaments and I decided to stack cut them and them put them on the Christmas packages so everyone with a gift would receive one..that way if they really did not like them they could just throw them away with the wrapping paper and no one would even know..To my real surprise everyone seemed excited to have them and expressed that they would like to have a collection of them for their tree..I guess what I learned here is......I get to have fun and the people I give them to..think I am a talented person, and generous too. I do not feel that what I do on the scroll saw is talent, but rather a little exercise in patience and fun..I like your tree idea....I also gave my Sunday School kids scroll work as rewards for their attendance.. PawPawRay
Last Christmas I cut ornaments with everone's name and attached them to the packages as name tags. They went over great and everyone kept them to put on their tree next year.

WolfmoonCT
I'm prob gonna try to cut a couple ornaments each week till November when the craft fair I attend is. I'll stack cut, so I'll try to do 2 patterns of 3, so 6 ornaments each week. Should make for lots of ornaments by Nov.
