I would suggest that you start with something easy..I started with scrolling names...then some simple cutouts. Next I tried making some wooden baskets and I have not looked back since. I have made over 100 things now and I love giving them away. portrait cutting is my real goal and I have completed one, the results of which I was pretty happy with.. good luck and don't forget to ask any questions or concerns you may have. the scrollers on this web sight delight in helping others and sharing their ideas and skills with all who want to partake...
