Popular Post Insane Dust Maker Posted April 16, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted April 16, 2023 Finally finished this beautiful Russ Beard Pattern, the frame is home made and I used the Shou Sugi Ban or Yakisugi effect which is a hundred year old Japanese technique that brings out the pattern of the wood. Applied three coats of Danish Oil and two coats Matt Clear Varnish. Staying in South Africa I have had the pleasure of photographing and sitting watch these animals now I’m cutting them. I will be using this technique on all my my fire wildlife cuttings jollyred, meflick, Scrappile and 12 others 15 Quote

As I use a highly modified Wen I cut slower than you guys and also we don’t have a good blade choice, but in terms of time I estimated it took me about 40 hours, I don’t rush just one hole at a time. One hole at a time. No more, no less. By the way, I have a Wen saw also. My Pegas is ordered but not due to arrive until July. Quote
Insane Dust Maker Posted April 20, 2023 Author Report Posted April 20, 2023 My “Wen” is so modified it has stainless steel blade bracket, I re-engineered the pin less blade holder and so much more same site table as most of the big saw have got took the dimensions of the Pegasus, Seyco and deWalt and came up with a happy medium size. Charlie E Posted April 20, 2023 Report Posted April 20, 2023 Beautiful job on that! Worth the time it took. Proving again the time taken or saw used doesn’t matter in the end. Quote
Peter N White Posted April 20, 2023 Report Posted April 20, 2023 Great cutting looks fantastic. Quote
