tagordy60 Posted February 5, 2012 Report Share Posted February 5, 2012 hi folks, i'm a 52 yo disabled male...i live in Barnesville, GA...i started scrollin a few years ago, but had to take a break from it when wife fell off her horse and had a couple of surgeries...needless to say, she's better now, and i've been goin at it in the shop since about october of last year...sold a few ornaments, and now workin on misc stuff, plus tryin to get an inventory of items up for a show in october this year...hopefully i can...ok, i tend to ramble a bit, so i'll hush for now...thanx for havin me here Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

amazingkevin Posted February 6, 2012 Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 Welcome ,Jims right just keep on keepin on scrollin!.Never a dull moment scrolling except when the saws not running! lol.Stay in practice as i get a little rusty when not scrolling.you'll need to scroll the wife a horse to ride so she's close to the ground if she falls again! lol Glad to hear she's made it thought the accident.I've participated i only one show and did real good ! nobody sold anything out of 10 venders and i did $190.00 for my first show.Keep us informed on your progress .Show us your shop pictures too!Were all to eager to help you anyway we can ,just ask! heppnerguy Posted February 6, 2012 Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 Jim...I am fairly new at scrolling, still into my first year...I agree with Kevin...you need to keep at it..I find when I am away from my saw, even for a couple of weeks, I need a few cuts to get back into the swing of things..glad to see you logged on here...there are a lot of great people here who love to help with anything from patterns to helping with any problems or questions you might have about scrolling or intarsia....come back often..you could be of help to someone else....
