northampton scroller
I would like to point scrollers to a you tube video called scroll saw pattern transfer made easy. It is brilliant..No more messing about with glue decoraters tape rubber cement packing tape. It takes ages to remove all this rubbish after cutting and breaking narrow bridges. I have tried it and it works a treat, lovely clean lines, and no more pattern lifting while cutting. It does have an initial outlay but if you do a lot of work it is well worth while. Last week I bought a Samsung black&white laser printer from Currys/pc world for £39.99 and xzylene on ebay for £3.50 I love it. Docupton
Until I read your post I had been using clear lacquer to transfer patterns to wood. I already had a laser printer so I sent for some Xylene, it arrived yesterday and today i tried it out, the results are great and easier to use than lacquer, thanks for the tip, brilliant.. DWSUDEKUM
I used a version of that technique to transfer the lettering on my book safes I agree it is very simple to use. DW
