Age test

Age test: who remember this item or even use it now? 

One of my customers from Germany asked me to make such pattern. Firstly I tried to make original size I wanted to make it realistic, but it came out very fragile and impossible to cut. I had to removed some details but it was look too simple. So I increesed pattern twise (pattern size is 8 x 5 inches) and here is final variant. I know that it looks like 3D cutting or with carving elements, but pattern is simpler than it appears, it is just glued layers without floating elements (one layer - one piece)

I love it!!  My old player in my craft room has a cassette tape it in now. A tape I listened to back in the late 80's when in high school.  White Snake.  LOL

And how many people remember using a pencil to get the tape back into the cassette when the player "ate" it?

Now side tracking to 8-track cassettes, there are still songs I listen too, and remember the KATHUNK, when the player changed tracks in the middle of a song!

The innovative invention that dethroned the "8-track" tapes.  I remember using pencils to take out any slack in the cassette tapes so the player wouldn't "eat" the tape.  Thanks for the trip down memory lane - impressive work!
