Travis Posted July 6, 2023 Report Posted July 6, 2023 I really enjoyed the new Indiana Jones movie. It was a great ride full of adventure and action. July is the time for summer blockbusters, with lots of action flicks and superheroes. So this month's scroll saw challenge's theme is Heroes. This will be open to interpretation. From everyday heroes like nurses, firefighters, and military, to superheroes of the silver screen. Post your hero projects! I can't wait to see them! Quote

Popular Post Travis Posted July 6, 2023 Author Popular Post Report Posted July 6, 2023 Here's one of Deadpool I did when the movie came out. Regular portrait style, but I did stain some of the wood for some extra color. Captain America shield and Ironman Mask were done with a lathart style, which was kinda fun. James E. Popular Post ChelCass Posted July 7, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted July 7, 2023 My Hero is the person pictured in the center picture. He and many others gave us the freedoms that the other two pictures represent. Our Freedom to do as we choose whether it be who we vote for, pray to and live our everyday lives. Those are my hero's. Popular Post Randyw81 Posted July 20, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted July 20, 2023 I looked at many of my project pictures and thought about what heroes means to me. The Corsair was flown by World War 2 heroes. This project was donated to a local veterans support group for a silent auction fundraiser. The eagle picture was made as a father's day gift for my hero, my dad. Travis, James E. Welch, meflick and 11 others 14 Quote
