Popular Post barb.j.enders Posted August 12, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted August 12, 2023 Finally got some shop time this week. I was able to get this cute little guy done. Cut from Aspen with a #1 mg blade. The colour is done with Unicorn Spit. Backer is BB ply, about 6" diameter. Finished with Walrus Oil. Pattern was from https://www.sg-patterns.com/slides/Glass pattern 002 Dragonfly Delight.html via a posting on one of the FB pages I subscribe to. I was also able to get a number of other cut, but not finished, projects finished! jollyred, Ron Johnson, Fab4 and 15 others 18 Quote
Scrappile Posted August 12, 2023 Report Posted August 12, 2023 Very well done. Lots of nice patterns on that site. In fact too many to go through them all. danny and barb.j.enders 1 1 Quote
ChelCass Posted August 12, 2023 Report Posted August 12, 2023 I have done stained glass for years and find those patterns (and I have a ton of patterns) work really well for scroll sawing also. Love your dragonfly. Colors are spot on. barb.j.enders 1 Quote

wombatie Posted August 14, 2023 Report Posted August 14, 2023 That is lovely. I love the unicorn spit colors, unfortunately it is very expensive in Australia. Marg barb.j.enders and danny 1 1 Quote

Marg I had found the Unicorn Spit at a wholesaler here in the city. It was great! Unfortunately, the warehouse has closed here. Not sure where I will buy now! Quote
