Marshall
Here it is , hope you like - reason for the painted Razorback is there was a big wad of wood filler on the hoof and it just wouldn't cover up with the stain I applyed - so we came up with the idea of painting the Razorback and I think it turned out raither well . Got to do what you to got to do in some instances - this one is going to be mine and I'm planing on bringing in the house Saturday - to give a couple of more days of cure time . The three coats of Min-Wax High Gloss Poly made it shine like water in a pool - and thats what I wanted and some great protection too for long term . Have some friends that like this painted Razorback bench one better than the plain Routered one , ....any comments are welcomed ........MB
Helenm2807
It looks great! I understand the need for the paint job - I do leatherwork as well as other stuff and the number of times I've dropped my paintbrush (and put a splodge in the background that then needs more paint to cover it up) could make me spit!. The paint job really brings the hog to life - my compliments to you for the bench and to your missus for the paintjob. You make a great team. H.
