wombatie Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 Didn't like mine at first but once all the nasties had been ironed out it was fine and now I love it. Enjoy Marg Quote
kenreichq Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 What kind of problems did you have with your saw? I am on my third EX-21 and still have problems - vibration, a lot of front to back motion on the blade (1/8"), noise. How did you solve them? Quote
Travis Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 Congrats on your new toy! I bet you're going to love it! Can't wait to see your first project off your new saw. Quote
wombatie Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 First I watched Steve Goode's You Tube video's and he explains how to turn the motor and I did this and that stopped the wood from bouncing all over the place. Here is the address, I think I have it right. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=sgo ... 5PYCIXDmtO Marg Quote
Travis Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/user/sdgood/vide ... =excalibur Looks like he has several videos on the Excalibur. Might be worth checking out. Quote
wombatie Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Thanks Travis for posting the right address for me. I found them interesting and VERY helpful, if I hadn't watched them I would never be able to say that I love my EX21. I will admit I shed a lot of tears over it because my husband got it for my birthday and I did not want him to feel bad about getting it. Marg Quote
