obtaining hardwoods in UK

I would just like to let UK scrollers know about Gibson Craftwoods. A husband & Wife team from Newalk Notts.

Their Ebay shop is tjg1949 they are superb and will go the extra mile to help you(which is very refreshing these days).

They post small parcels by Royal Mail. but larger items up to 60lbs in weight for £12.50.by City Link the next day.

Everything i have had has been great and reasonably priced.And always Fast delivery.

Thanks Jim. Getting planed hardwood in the Uk has always been a problem. I don't have the room for a planer but I hope to have a thicknesser soon. Getting hardwood is easy here but getting it planed to various thicknesses is a major headache so a lot of things I make I use MDF and birch ply.
