Mark SW
Nicely cut. The roster is my favorite. Is the dog from SSV patterns? Mark

Mark No the dog is from Steve Good. This is one of his Christmas Ornaments for 2023. The Rooster however is a SSV pattern. Mark SW

It is just not a animal I usually associate with Christmas. Donkey - yes, Turkey - yes, Raindeer - yes, Lambs - yes, maybe even a cute kitten or puppy ...but I have never even seen a chicken in a Nativity Scene. Maybe if it was shown in a Roasting pan, I could agree. Edited October 2, 2023 by FrankEV
Gene Howe
My next Nativity scene WILL DEFINITELY include a rooster. Edited October 3, 2023 by Gene Howe Scrappile, Mark SW, FrankEV and 2 others 1

Well it is like this. LOL I make a ornament pretty much every Christmas for our pets and we have 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 rabbit and 5 chickens..................hence the Rooster pattern. I will do a hen one as soon as I find one I like. I tried to talk Steve Good into doing different animal Christmas ornaments last year but he didn't go for it......................LOL However he did make me a bunny one. ps. Some people do eat Chicken for Christmas dinner ") FrankEV
