Scrappile Posted October 5, 2023 Report Posted October 5, 2023 That is called being a master at scrolling... Straight lines an circles are the hardest to do.. You so it so well! danny and GrampaJim 2 Quote
GrampaJim Posted October 5, 2023 Author Report Posted October 5, 2023 Thanks all for the kind words. Scrolling is something you never feel like you have completely mastered. I look at my projects and always see where I could have done better. I started scrolling in 2016 with a Craftsman and joined SSV shortly after. Since I retired in 2018, I am able to scroll about 2-3 hours a day. Since then I have gone used a Dewalt, Hegner, and have a 16" Excalibur. danny and heppnerguy 2 Quote

heppnerguy Posted October 8, 2023 Report Posted October 8, 2023 I love to do lettering but it seems there are so many projects out there that I do not do much of that any more. Beautiful wood choice and excellent execution on the workmanship Dick heppnerguy Quote
GrampaJim Posted October 8, 2023 Author Report Posted October 8, 2023 Lettering and Intarsia is almost all I do. And the Intarsia projects now are only for family - too much work for what I can sell them for. Quote
James E. Welch Posted October 9, 2023 Report Posted October 9, 2023 A little off topic but is Shiela Landry from Louisiana? Landry is a popular last name in these parts. I sound like my grandparents, "who's your parents?" "How's your momma and em?" Quote
GrampaJim Posted October 9, 2023 Author Report Posted October 9, 2023 Might be where she started, but she is in Canada now. James E. Welch 1 Quote
