Millwab Posted October 10, 2023 Report Posted October 10, 2023 If you’re looking for a magnifying light you may want to look at this. Magnifying options, brightness options, and a decent price: https://www.chipsfly.com/ez-view-magnifier jollyred 1 Quote
Dan Posted October 10, 2023 Report Posted October 10, 2023 Thanks, Bruce. At that price they will go quick. Are there any reviews on this lamp? Quote
Gene Howe Posted October 10, 2023 Report Posted October 10, 2023 I have one. If anyone wants it, it's yours. Just pay shipping. Quote
TAIrving Posted October 10, 2023 Report Posted October 10, 2023 8X magnification sounds quite strong. My current light has 3X magnification which I like. Quote
Scrappile Posted October 10, 2023 Report Posted October 10, 2023 I have a 3x and a 5x and I find myself using the 3x most often. One has a glass lens and the other non-glass, (plastic I guess). The glass lens is better. Quote

Didn’t see any reviews. This link was in an email from Wood Magazine. Just passing it on in case anyone from the Village was interested. Quote

I bought a head mounted one with several different diopter lenses. It's a bit handier. I wear tri focals and, the one I'm giving away was a bit clumsy to use with the saw. It's great for stationary, bench work though. Dan 1 Quote

jerry1939 Posted October 15, 2023 Report Posted October 15, 2023 Gave all my woodworking tools to a Son. Had one like you are showing. Don't know the magnification amount. One huge mistake I made was mounting it to the saw stand. The vibration made the lens worthless. Was a great light. IF you get something like that, hang it from the ceiling. I used the light & wore a magnifying headband. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
